New year, new self-summary. Instead of defining myself by what I do for money, or something, or making up some baloney, I'll try telling you what I'd like to be. I'd like to be a musician. OKay so umm im 5"11. 200ish pounds,Brown hair, Grey-green eyes. My eyes change depending on my mood going all the way from blue to light grey yea not small, but not like huge. I play WoW and just kinda live life as it comes. It always seems that we look to far ahead, and that just seem overwhelming.

First off, if you are serious about religion ("which religion" does not matter) we probably will not get along. Consider it a "deal-breaker". I've been known to be a very picky person; religious views present one example.

Second, be willing to stick around! If you're just here for school, planning to move somewhere else when you're satisfied with your so-called higher education, GTFO! I don't even keep in touch with my brother (who lives in Texas) so I probably wouldn't keep in touch with anyone else who decides to move away.

Currently, I am a snowboard bum working at Snowbowl taking classes online. Occasionally I will read books. I enjoy being lazy and have a comfy bed. There isn't much I take too seriously. I like to think I am intelligent and have cool ideas. Others have told me I am very talented on the guitar. This may be true, but im not sure. Not sure what else to write that won't make me sound like a tool, but im rad.

I guess I should start out with this, I got on this because I am in a new town and am really bored. I just moved to Flagstaff from Phoenix(where I have lived my whole life) because I wanted to get a new start on life. I love to play guitar, even though I'm not very good at it yet, and I am looking forward to buying a new acoustic guitar, as my last one was stolen. Pretty much anything can be made fun if you know how to do it right. I like to go walking, hiking, camping, and pretty much anything outdoors, but I'm still not used to the cold up here yet, and I'm kinda nervous about the snow that will be hitting soon. I probably spend way too much time watching movies and goofing off on facebook.

I'm a biology and psychology student at NAU. I love science, writing, writing music and trying to figure out how the universe works. I believe in compassion, empiricism and intellectual honesty. I believe in doing things with your life that allow yourself and others to act on the world in ways that are personally meaningful and fulfilling--and I believe this can be accomplished by a number of approaches, from painting to expand your imagination, to using a cybernetic implant to expand your visible light spectrum (not yet possible, but we're getting there...).

It seems to me that we often lie as much or more to ourselves than to other people and often have huge contradictions in our beliefs. So I feel that a person should always strive for internal honesty and consistency. I also believe that empathy and compassion are some of our greatest virtues. I don't like to assign labels to myself--or anyone else, for that matter--but I could generally be referred to as a scientist, atheist, freethinker, and secular humanist.

Hi there, I'm a Sociology/Psychology Senior at NAU, working at a check-cashing place to cover rent + tuition while I decide that I still really have no idea where the future is going, but I might as well keep myself occupied in the meantime. My car is almost as much of an adventurer as I am, and we had a ton of fun trying to tackle Schnebly Hill during a blizzard.

Well, I am a father of a six year old daughter that I am raising. I am currently working on a fine arts degree with an emphasis in Metalsmithing and a minor in Art History

Self-summary, alright, well, offhand, I think my friends would say that I'm funny, creative, polite, conscientious (at least, I think my more astute comrades would note that), something of a dreamer and adventurer and just a tad eccentric. And durable. I often find myself in strange places entirely outside of my realm of familiarity and, I adapt. Whether it's getting stuck, by myself, in a remote Dinka village for a week (true story!) or being employed as the only white guy at the Hopi Tribe's main restaurant, I'm quick to 'do as the Romans' and make friends easily. Though, as a bit of warning the Spring semester is set to start soon and I can't promise how available I'll be until things fall into a routine.

Well you're looking at this so something obviously caught your eye. I'm currently a Parks and Recreation major at NAU and live in an apartment near campus. I'm really easy-going and generally I'm pretty laid back. I like sitting around having a couple beers with a few friends or watching a good movie or sitting around a campfire. I did taekwondo for 10 years before I moved up here and have since switched to Aiki-Hapkido and MMA at Sleeping Lion Martial Arts. I'm very open minded and honest and most people find that I'm easy to get along with and have a good sense of humor and am almost always in a good mood. I think my defining feature is the deep sense of humor I've developed over the years. I like reading, the movies,and other general entertainment stuff. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, camping and whatnot, but I don't really get out as much as I'd like. Mostly, I like spending time with quality people.

My name is Cecily Francis and I am currently attending Northern Arizona University as a sophomore. I am majoring in English and Political Science. Both of those will eventually become more specific as I decide what I want to do in those areas directly. As for my English degree, I will be going to college till I'm 35, give or take, due to my desire to have a Masters. I will get a doctorate eventually but I only need a masters to teach in a college setting. As for my Political Science degree, I'm going to become extremely politically aware and active. I love the mountains and nature. I love to go off-roading in my 4X4 or on my dirt bike. I like to dive my car fast on a empty mountain highway. I like to snow ski. For relaxing I enjoy reading or watching movies at home. (I have a new flat screen TV with surround sound so I don't go to the theatre anymore). I watch a bit of TV when thereâ??s nothing better to do, mostly Nat Geo, Sci-Fi and Comedy. Oh and I do follow the Seriesâ?? Heroes and Chuck (my Monday night thing â?? helps get through the day). I listen to NPR on a regular basis and would like to meet someone else who does, that way we can compare notes at the end of the day and talk about all of the interesting things we learned. I am also quite affectionate; I enjoy kissing and cuddling and caressing, holding hands and touching...
My situation: I am employed full-time and work 10 hour days Monday through Thursday. I have 3 day weekends, which is nice (although 10 hour days can be long). I currently live alone with my sweet and funny feline companion, Turtle (yes, thatâ??s her name) but I am looking to find a roommate for my place or maybe downtown. I quit smoking on November 1st but unfortunately have started up again...old habits and all. I recently got out of a 2 year relationship which apparently couldnâ??t survive the stress of the quitting. I am beginning to reestablish old friendships and activities that I had allowed to slide during that time. I don't do drugs on a regular basis, although I have smoked weed and experimened with some other recreational drugs, mostly when I was younger.
Physical: I'm 38 years old (and don't mind admitting it), Blonde and Blue eyed. I'm 5'8" with long legs and, well...nicely endowed up top. My favorite clothes are jeans and hiking boots. I go for comfort, not style. But I can dress up if the occasion requires it and enjoy doing so. I am currently losing weight (20 lbs already with a goal of about 35 total) and should look pretty good at the end of it. I just need to keep it up and get out of the house more. I am looking for someone who likes to get out himself. Go hiking, walking, river rafting, just move around. Maybe we can motivate each other to get out and get fit and have fun doing it.

Ahhhh, do I have to! A required self-summary!...really? Wasn't coming up with 3 required words to describe myself torturous enough?...not to mention too much like a tag line on a super market product box. How about, â??I am new, improved, and taste better" (hmmm, actually, I kind of like that). I started out trying to be clever by responding with something like "I am 'disdainful', 'of 3 word characterizations', and 'suchâ??", but it wouldn't fit, I'm too brain dead to make it work, and it really wasn't all that cleaver anyway. Ok, so back to the "Self Summary"...gotta love it...â??self summaryâ??...ok, summarize yourselfâ?¦one, two, three, â??Go!â??â?¦.uhhhh, hmmm, letâ??s seeâ?¦well, I have a marked tendency to over use ellispses in self summaries. Howâ??s that for a start?

Okâ?¦fineâ?¦before you become overly annoyed with my triteness, here comes the dating site spiel a la me.

I put on my â??businessâ?? card that Iâ??m a photographer and musician masquerading as a computer systems analyst. Itâ??s ironic that I ended up in computers given that my intrinsic interests are the life sciences and creative expressionâ?¦but that irony is a story for another dayâ?¦meanwhile, working in support of university computer system applications has given me the financial security to explore life and interests outside of the office (Iâ??ve been exercising the work to play theory for quite some time). I have lots of interests including playing guitar, photography, yoga, motorcycle riding, reading, my pets (a dog and a cat), the outdoors, dancing to a groove, banging on congas and djembes and such, tantric philosophy, mountains, contemplating the stars, travel, skiing (liquid water and crystalized water), snorkeling, occasional hiking and biking, good music, good wine, a great conversation, watching the clouds, watching the endless magic of light and form in nature, pondering life and the source within and withoutâ?¦you know, like that. But mostly, Iâ??m just trying to figure out whatâ??s next along the journey.

I am passionate about things that intrigue or excite me. I am a romantic with a pragmatic bent. I think chemistry (insert female and male symbols here) is a wonderful and essential thing, but through some cruel bio-physio-psycho-logical mechanism(s) oddly doesnâ??t necessarily have anything to do with overall compatibility. Something tells me that most reading this are well aware of that sticky little truth. The inverse seems equally true â?? you can check all the items off the relationship â??grocery listâ??, but still not have any chemistry...which is why a pheromone-less self summary can only get so far. Bottom line, Iâ??d like to find and nurture an effervescent chemistry that doesnâ??t blow up the test tube. Intimacy (physical, mental, emotional) is way cool. Sex is importante. Kissing is fundamental. But itâ??s all a moot point if you arenâ??t independent, self-willed and in constant self development on your own accord regardless of the intimacies of the relationship. Uh-oh, my self summary somehow found its way to the soap boxâ?¦sorryâ?¦Iâ??ll step down now. Incidentally, â??If the Buddha Ever Datedâ?? is a really good read.

I woke up from a divorce about 5 years ago staring at 4 suburban walls asking myself what the f#%k I was doing in a mountain town when I couldnâ??t even see the mountain. I now live in a solar powered home on acreage facing the beautiful San Francisco Peaks of northern Arizona. The view fills my living room and is a daily inspiration. I finished building the home a year ago last spring, and I call it â??The Mountain Starâ??. Well, ok, truth be told, I used a real builder so my house would be square to the ground and not crumble in the first stormâ?¦but I did design it, coordinate the sub-contractors, and serve as the cheapest labor guy around!

What else? I was born in Canada, raised by British parents in Texas (this mostly to my dismay) but have lived the majority of my life in Northern Arizona. I went to a private, all-male private high school by day and hung out with my public school hippie friends by night. My middle name is dichotomy. Iâ??m very fit and youthful looking for my age and find fitness and youthfulness in a woman very attractive. Creativity and intelligence turns me on too. Compassion is pretty sexy too. I am NOT religious, but seek spiritual truths wherever they may be found. I am open-minded and socially liberal, though I enjoy certain, traditional values. I care about our tiny little, huge planet and want to see more of it.
