Andrew graduated with a degree in fine arts, a minor in film, and a craving for more experiences as a performer. He continued performing solo or ensemble with several local bands. Drawing on all his creative talents, Andrew also began exploring acting for TV, film and theater. Growing tired of the New York grind, Andrew relocated to Florida seeking opportunities as an artist, actor and musician. It wasn’t long before he was forming a new band with a more direct rock and roll sound and a more professional attitude. The newly formed trio; Arcane Substance, was soon playing local scenes in South Florida. A solid musical relationship formed over time with the two other members of the band and kept things going for several more years. The combined professionalism and creativity developed a rich collection of musical archives and experiences between 1992 and 2000. Andrew gained experience and expertise as lead vocalist, saxophone soloist, keyboardist, and percussionist. With a bass and a lead guitarist, Andrew hit the Florida scene with a new progressive rock sound that was becoming closer to what he had envisioned than ever before. In the late 90s, Andrew decided on a new name that would capture the dynamic and expressive musical experience he wanted to share with his fans. Thus the vision for Emotive was born, and before moving on to Arizona, Emotive enjoyed moments of modest fame on local Florida radio stations, and in bars, clubs and beaches.

In April of 2001, Andrew made a bold move to Arizona in a Chevy van packed full of all his musical equipment, artwork, personal belongings, and a cat . The relocation brought the progressive rock sound of Emotive to the South West, where Andrew has single handedly recorded and produced brand new material for a forthcoming CD release, radio and internet broadcasts and new intense live performances. Emotive now records and produces all material at ATB Productions 'The Purple Cave', owned and operated by the artist and his wife, Stephanie Bearce, in Sedona, Arizona. The combined talents of Andrew Bearce as an artist, actor and musician are represented by ATB Productions. The scope of Andrew’s experience in art and acting has a dramatic influence on the music and performance, live and in the studio.

NEW CD OUT MID-MAY ON www.lael-music.com

*also check out www.myspace.com/laelmusic

Influenced by the strange ebbs and flows of her life, Lael landed upright to the ground in Flagstaff, Arizona, on a late day in March 2006. She brought with her a handful of guitars, a killer ukelele and her husky-to-honey voice. Lael has been writing songs, singing and playing guitar for nearly a decade. Her music has moved from simple strums to complex arrangements and back again. Her original style first blossomed in the college years, at West Virginia University. Lael originally took the stage at a divey pool bar called "Terrapin Station," while Porkchop, Burlap Sac, Camp Stove, Sugar Foot, and Francis chanted her . . . yes, these were her friends! With an extreme fondness for the great outdoors, she ventured into the West Virginia wilderness and basked in the friendship glow known as THE PINEAPPLE SUNSHINE.Lael returned to her "homeland" of the New Jersey coast - and lived in Asbury Park, home of "The Boss." She still has sand between her toes, and continues to wake up to karaoke renditions of I’m on Fire. A roamer, an adventurer, a lover of life is she. Lael is a FIRE SIGN, Passionate & Light, and has a true love and admiration for Canada - and her special Canadian friends who live there! And though, a vegetarian, she has been described by myself as "a total ham sandwich," in a good way! Her inclinations run in the family, as both of her brothers and her father play guitar and sing their hearts out - and leave the dancin’ to Lael and her mother, who’s actually a pro - really. Lael’s dad is part of The Glimmer Grass Band, a rockin’ bluegrass band that has the Jersey Shore stomping. Her songs are dualities: uplifting and heartbreaking. Humorous and tragic. Low-key and danceable. She’s recorded multiple versions of her songs Middle of June, Fire Sign and Decorations. She’s added 4 brand-new songs to this latest CD entitled FIRE SIGN — Montreal, Passionate & Light, Love @ 1st Sight and Off the Hook. Further, she brings her own gender-bending touch to such Prince-penned classics as When You Were Mine and The Cure’s Just Like Heaven. Lael is "on fire" now with her song writing as she already has 10 new songs awaiting to be recorded for the next CD - but let’s pause and take in this one first - chill out you sparky little fire cracker! You’re in Arizona now - take in the sunshine, drink a home-brew, and chat about politics for a while. MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE.
