“Overall confusing experience here- Procedures change at the drop of a hat and office staff often make 'school' decisions. Teachers are high stressed and unhappy looking, however I'm not sure academics aren't stressed (taken seriously). All students in every class are placed in the newspaper as 'Honor Roll'. My child went on to a reg. school and was behind, but had been getting A's at Acorn ? Extremely high staff turnover. Perhaps it's because the focus is on school appearance/ photo ops. The building is cleaned spotless all day long. The rooms look as if no children had been in them. Would not recommend-”

“I would have to say that we were disappointed with the inconsistency of the school.Each class and teacher seems to have their own philosophy, policies and classroom setup.It was not in tune at all with the Montessori philosophy as presented on our tour of the school. They need to worry less on how much paperwork they can force down the children in a day and focus more on hands on individual learning as they profess.Kindness and respect toward each other definately needs to be addressed. I was thoroughly disappointed with the lack of family involvement/activities and that they seem to prefer it that way. Scheduling a 1/2 hour time slot is not my idea of open door, family involvement.”
